I’d be lying if I said Pat and I weren’t stressing out a bit lately. As most of you know, we’re in the process of planning to build a home. We were supposed to get started weeks ago but our bank is being less than cooperative in both getting back to us and moving forward with what they need to do. To say it’s frustrating is an understatement! In fact, I get so frustrated at times that I find myself laughing uncontrollably at the whole situation. Literally tears of laughter fall down my cheeks! Pat looks at me really confused but hey, I guess it’s better than getting too worked up!
The good news is that we now have a well on our land, a building permit and they’re going to start clearing our land this week even though we haven’t closed on our loan yet. Oh, we officially have a house number as well so that’s exciting! Things are now starting to move along so hopefully everything is situated soon! Of course we will be taking and sharing tons of pictures throughout the entire process.
Thankfully this weekend we didn’t have a chance to even think about any of that. We focused on the two awesome weddings of Shannon & Joel and Jesslyn & Alan. We were also lucky enough to work with our friends Jackie and Thom on Saturday’s wedding.Working with these peeps is like a dream. Not only does everything run smoothly, but I can also booty bump them on the side of the dance floor during weddings and it’s totally acceptable!
Here are a few photos from the weddings this past weekend. You guys, I cannot even wait to share more of both of these!! I love both of these couples and they couldn’t have made our jobs any easier this weekend! Wait until you see all of the details Shannon put together. It was over the top rustic and DIY. Jesslyn’s was elegant and classic. Both were stunning to say the least!
