I remember loving the entire wedding planning process but when it came down to the nitty gritty details, I started to get overwhelmed! There are 1,000 things when it comes to planning your wedding day. Making time for photos is a big one. Luckily, there a couple of easy options to make the wedding day planning for pictures a little easier. Here are your 3 options.
1. Have a first look.
It’s no secret, we LOVE when couple’s do a first look. We chose to do it at our own wedding and it was one of the most special memories I have of the day. Not only is it special but it allows time to get photos of both of you done as well as the wedding party and even family. You also won’t be stressing out after the ceremony to get all of the photos done in under an hour.
Tip: Carve out at least an hour and a half between getting ready and the ceremony. We will take as many photos as possible and make sure there’s enough time left for you to hide from arriving guests..
2. Take Wedding Party Photos Before The Ceremony.
If you go the traditional route and want to wait until the ceremony, make some time to do photos with your wedding party beforehand. We can take photos with the groom and his groomsmen and the bride and her bridesmaids. There will be fewer photos we’d need to do later on!
Tip: You’ll want to plan getting dressed about a half an hour before this takes place.
3. Take all of your photos during cocktail hour.
This is doable, we just need to make sure the wedding party and family knows where to be right after the ceremony. If everyone knows the plan ahead of time, it’ll be easier to get the photos done quicker. We want you to get to your party on time!
Those are the three options to help with your wedding planning and making time for photos! Hope this helps!
