Some days I’m really hard on myself and I am always thinking of ways to become a better photographer. I always see things I could improve on and am overly critical of everything I do. Aren’t we all?! Yesterday, I saw a photographer share a picture of a side by side comparison over a photo they took a few years to a recent one. It inspired me to go and take a look back at work we’ve done in the past to what we do now.
Wow! It really makes me appreciate how far we’ve come. The first one isn’t bad, I was really happy with these photos at the time but it’s just different than the photos I strived to someday take. I had a style in mind and I’m still working on perfecting that style every day. It’s been a crazy learning experience and I literally learn something new all of the time. But the reason I’m posting this, is that if you’re new to photography or just new to anything: don’t give up! Things slowly but surely start clicking over time. And those things in your head?
They start coming to life.
