I don’t talk much about our full time jobs on this blog. We both work for a big corporation and I like to keep those details under wrap so nothing comes back and bites me in the bum! However, today I wanted to talk about juggling both a full time job and a business at the same time. It’s definitely not easy but we’ve made it manageable over the past few years. When we first started with the idea of opening a business on the side 3 years ago, I don’t think we realized just how much went into it. We just kind of dove into it full steam ahead and suddenly found ourselves staying up until 1am on a [Read More…]

I love this couple! Carly and Vinnie were married at The Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT and they are two of the sweetest people ever! Their day was filled with a lot of anticipation, love and the most adorable little ring bearers and flower girls you’ve ever seen! I’ve been hearing about Carly’s vision for their wedding for about a year and a half now. She’s my hairdresser and I’ve spent many hours sitting in her chair talking all things wedding. First it was mine and how we were going to do my hair. That flew by quicker than I ever imagined and hers was suddenly here! Needless to say, I had a ton of anticipation for their day! [Read More…]
If there’s one thing I lack, its patience. I’ve always been the type to think of something and it has to be done NOW. There is no waiting period if I want to change something. If I get a thought to rearrange the entire bedroom for some unknown reason, I will literally start rearranging it on the spot. If I don’t, I can’t stop thinking about it…and talking about it. Yes, Pat has to suffer through this. Poor fella! Needless to say, when we were talking about putting our house on the market, I needed to get it on right away. And now….things are taking much longer than my plan in my head! I’ve let this get to me like [Read More…]
Kim and Jamaal have got to be one of the sweetest couple’s we’ve ever met. The moment we met them, we instantly liked them and knew we’d love to photograph their wedding. They had a beautiful, intimate day and Kim put her own personal touches on everything. She wanted a relaxed, destination feel and she definitely achieved that. I have to say, she was beyond gorgeous and glowing the entire day. Jamaal waited anxiously for her at Amherst College to see her for their First Look. The two of them were so nervous but all of that fell away the moment they saw each other. You can see in their pictures how much these two love each other by the [Read More…]
Carly & Vinnie’s wedding was beyond beautiful so I had to share a few photos from their wedding this weekend! The weather turned just at the right time for them and we were lucky to get some amazing photos. I’m dying over how cute these two are together, for real! I’ll share more soon so keep your eyes out!
I really love wedding photography. A few years ago, we began to think about starting a business. Being my typical self, I thought there was no way it would ever work out for us! But something made me keep going and I began to learn everything under the sun about what it take to photograph a wedding. Looking back, I have to say I’m actually really proud of us. Pat never gives up when it comes to something he wants but I usually convince myself that I can’t do something. I talk myself out of everything out of my comfort zone! Let me tell you, this business couldn’t be anymore of out my comfort zone than anything in this world! [Read More…]
