Sometimes in life you get to meet great people and when you’re lucky enough, you get to work side by side with them. That’s how Pat and I felt about photographing Amelia & Matt’s wedding. They are kind, thoughtful and so in love with each other. Basically, a dream to work with.
They were married at Hartmann’s’ Herb Farm in Barre, MA. It was the perfect setting for the two of them as a couple. The location was beautiful but it was the supportive friends and family who truly made it even better. Amelia was fluttering around the suite, calm and ready for the day….until I told her the guys were on their way. Suddenly, everything seemed very real. They chose to have a first look before the ceremony so she knew it would be any moment that she was going to see her future husband walk through the door. Butterflies and nerves took over as she waited for Matt to make his way up the stairs to see her as a bride. And she was a gorgeous one at that. As Matt entered, they had a very real, yet peaceful moment together as they took in the moment and realized their day had finally come.
The day couldn’t have been any more perfect. They were married in the gardens of the farm and it was a beautiful ceremony. They chose to have a Hand fasting Ceremony where the maid of honor tied ribbon around their hands which represented binding them together as one. The idea was amazing and so very them. The remainder of their wedding was spent laughing, a lot of cheers and an abundance of love from everyone around them. Everything went by so smoothly and every moment was so fun just to be around.
Congratulations you two!
