Since high school, Sam and Marco were on again and off again. Each time they spent time apart, they were drawn back to each other. I can see why. They are a perfect fit and seem genuinely and completely in love. After all of these years, they finally got married at The Barney Estate in Springfield, MA on October 1st. Their friends and family absolutely made their day since they’ve all been so tight knit for years and years.
Sam and Marco opted to see each other before the ceremony so we setup a first look. Marco said he wasn’t nervous at all until Pat placed in the spot he would be seeing Sam as his bride for the first time. His reaction to seeing her was priceless. She did look absolutely stunning. After a few moments of being in awe of each other, they noticed that their moms were spying on them from the parking lot nearby. Luckily, I got to capture the moment of their moms wiping tears from their eyes behind a tree. It was a big moment for everyone.
The day also consisted of a double-decker bus that moved at the pace of a tortoise in which a few renditions of the song “Going to the Chapel” was sung at the top of 12 girl’s lungs. The bus’ microphone was also used as the best man’s personal beat-box mic to yell at people trying to jay walk in front of the bus. Singing and beat-boxing all in a bus ride? Safe to say, this is my type of crowd.
That was the basis of the entire day which was filled with lots of laughs, a few tears and endless amounts of dancing. It was awesome to see so many people we haven’t seen in over 10 years. We feel really privileged to document their wedding and had so much fun with everyone. Really, we did
Congratulations Sam & Marco!!
