Things have been really crazy for us lately. We’ve been busy almost every weekend since the beginning of September. I love it but it’s tiring since we both have full time jobs as well. We have one more wedding on Saturday and possibly a couple more engagement shoots this fall but for the most part, our season is coming to an end. I’m looking forward to having a little time off to focus on other things in life….like our own wedding. People keep asking me what I’ve planned and it’s pretty much nada besides the place at this point. We haven’t had any time to put a lot of thought into it. Between editing and doing things on the backend of the business, it doesn’t leave much time for friends, family or planning.
I think we’re going to go out to dinner for the two of us after all is said and done to celebrate all of the accomplishments we’ve had in 2011 so far. The hard work is paying off and I love seeing our business grow over time. Pat and I both enjoy it so much…but I’m looking forward to having time to enjoy our favorite holiday: Halloween. I want to go on a hay ride and have guys chase me with chainsaws through a cornfield. Nothing like chainsaws and men in creepy masks to make us relax and take a load off!
We have lots of things to blog about in the next couple of weeks. For now, here’s a preview of one of the engagement sessions we had last weekend with Kathleen and Bill. Wait until you see how many locations we fit in on this one!
