ryan brought Katie to the 3 County Fair for their very first date. Seems like a cute idea, right? Well, it definitely didn’t win Katie over on his first attempt. In fact, she decided she wasn’t interested in Bryan on that day. It wasn’t until a year later and another attempt for a date at the 3 County Fair, that Bryan fell into Katie’s good graces and they became an official couple. I guess a girl can’t deny a date filled with cotton candy, fried dough and the soothing sound of a demolition derby happening in the background twice.
A few years later, it all came around full circle at the very same fair. It’s where they chose to have their engagement pictures done. And this is why we let all of our couples choose their engagement location; they always find something with a deeper meaning to them as a couple than what we can come up with on our own.
We had so much fun with both of them. They were relaxed, so easy going and honestly, Katie was so natural in front of the camera. Plus, Bryan pulled out his ’67 Camero and Pat got to drool for a long time while we photographed them with it. Luckily, it wasn’t enough to persuade him to buy one…yet.
I got some of my own personal favorite pictures out of this session with them. I could photograph them all day long. For real.
