Paul and Robin are two of the nicest people on this planet, seriously. When they announced they were going to get married, we were so happy for them. Pat and Paul have worked together for quite a few years and they get along like peas and carrots…or should I say information and technology? Yes, we were both guests and their photographers. We’d snap a pic and then drink some wine, it was a fine night.
We never knew their entire story of how they met until we went to dinner with them and their family the night before their wedding. Robin was not interested in dating anyone when she met Paul. In fact, she shot him down quite a few times before ever giving in. I had no idea Paul was so persistent. You see, he’s a nice, quiet guy who doesn’t like to ruffle too many feathers. I can never get any dirt out of him, no matter how hard I try. I can’t say I blame him though. Robin is pretty, funny and the most genuine person you will ever meet. They make the perfect pair. They both seemed so happy on their wedding day and we were really honored to be a part of their day in more ways than one.
They were married at The Beachmere in Ogunquit. It was so gorgeous and directly overlooking the ocean. In fact, it was so nice, I told Pat that this will be my venue for my 2nd marriage…I mean our vow renewal in 25 years!
Their friend sang Ave Maria during the ceremony and Robin’s daughter sang Marry Me by Train. Everyone walking by stopped and stared, they were both amazing.
Later on during the ceremony, Robin’s daughter got to rock out with the band. She sang Don’t Stop Believing by Journey. She seriously rocked the house! It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.
Their band was Orange Crush. A full on 80’s band who had everyone dancing from the first note. It was amazing.
