Well, we’re back in good ole Massachusetts. We had our quick getaway to Ogunquit Maine for a long weekend and it was thoroughly enjoyable! First, I annoyed Pat for 2 and a half hours on the ride up by singing, dancing and asking a million questions. I’m surprised he didn’t toss me off a cliff along the coast when we arrived. That’s love, folks. That’s some real love right there!
We ate lobster, crab and any other little sea creature caught that day. Actually, I should say I’m the one who ate the seafood. Pat stuck to chicken and burgers; anything that comes out of the sea does not jive with him. We also got to walk along the Marginal Way, which takes you along the coast and through the cliffs. It was gorgeous…but windy. Let’s just say the people around us got a little more than they bargained for the day when my skirt kept blowing up every 3 minutes. This is the 2nd time that’s happened to me in the past few weeks…I think I need to switch to either straight up overalls or at least invest in some granny panties. Mama mia! (Not sure when I turned Italian but it seemed to fit.)
On Saturday we got to shoot a friends wedding and it was sooo gorgeous. We were both guests and their photographers for the day. I have another post together on that.
Of course both Pat and I had our cameras out all weekend. It felt good just to shoot for the fun of it; we haven’t really done that lately. Here are some photos off of my camera. Pat’s been lazy and didn’t edit any of his yet; he’s been too busy catching up on Man vs. Wild and Cops…men.
