Working out…ughh! I really need to get my butt in shape, quite literally. I’m not sure where my motivation has gone but if you see it around, please send it back to me. I do workout a few nights a week. Well, at least I try to. It seems like something comes up every single week where I miss my spin classes and don’t get on my elliptical downstairs as much as I imagine I will that week.
Do you know what I think this calls for? Oh my god, I can’t even believe I’m saying this….it calls for me waking up earlier in the morning to either go on my elliptical or take the dog for a run. You guys, I do not do mornings. Neither does my dog, which is why she’s the perfect pet. As it is, I wait until the last possible second to get out of bed to get ready for work. I then proceed to rush around the house like its nobodies business. Every. Single. Day. How am I going to wake up even earlier?? More importantly, how is Kali going to wakeup? When I leave the bed, she crawls into my space, puts her head on my pillow and passes out for a couple more hours.
ONE time I went to the gym at 6 in the morning. That’s right, once and never again. The people there were chipper, friendly and loved their morning chats with the person on the treadmill next to them. Then there was me. My eyes were crusted over, I’m pretty sure my pants were on inside out and if anyone came near me, I wasn’t afraid to put out every don’t talk to me vibe that has ever lived inside my body. Stay away people, just stay away with your giant smiling morning faces!
At least I don’t plan on going all the way to the gym this time. I can do it right inside of my home….that’s what I say now, wait until I have to wakeup tomorrow morning. If I start tweeting and facebooking the most hateful and grumpy things you’ve ever seen in the am, just know that I am doing it! I am getting healthier while going mentally insane!
