A couple of weeks ago, I posted that I was going to start working out and eating better. Well, I did for the most part…minus the pasta with heavy cream sauce that I scarfed down at Olive Garden with a friend last night. Oh, and the bread sticks of course. Ayyy nayyy! Besides that, I’ve been doing pretty well and even lost 3 pounds. Mama like!
I’ve been putting my new elliptical to good use and even started doing yoga at home. Don’t laugh at me, but I started doing Bethenny Frankel’s yoga DVD. You know, from the Real Housewives of NYC. I’m kind of a celebrity junkie. I forced Pat to go to LA last year just to spot someone famous. I never saw anyone. 🙁
Anyway, getting away from my rant; I have my sights on running again. This would be an easier task if there weren’t mountains of snow and ice on the ground so that will have to wait. I’m thinking I should set a summer goal for myself though. Maybe a 10K? Whatcha’ll think?
I need to get my dog Kali involved in this action as well; she’s become quite a chunky monkey lately. I literally have to drag her behind me when I take her for a run. It is a sight to be seen. I’m wheezing and dragging a 90 pound dog behind me. She’s still cute though!
