Can we all take a minute and realize that Christmas is in 3 weeks? I’m both ecstatic and miserable about this at the same time. Mostly, I can’t wait to watch Elf like it’s my job, eat tons of food such as pasta with maple syrup and finally get a real Christmas tree. I convinced Pat to get a real tree this year, me so happy! You have no idea the struggles I have gone through to get to this point. Every time I bring it up he recounts this story of when he was young and his family bought a tree full of spiders. I’m pretty sure he said they hatched in his house. Okay, I get it, that is straight nasty but let a girl have some fun and vacuum pine needles from her living room for 3 weeks. Instead, we’ve had this scrawny Christmas tree for the past 4 years, I think Charlie Brown would even laugh at this tree. Seriously, it was like the $29.99 clearance tree from Wal-Mart. It’s…special!
Anyway, moving on from my tree rant…I really don’t know what happened to November. I think we were busy literally every day and every night that I just blinked and it was done. Looking back, we got a lot accomplished business wise! We went from having nothing done to having things such as this fab blog for ya’ll to read. Lets see what we can get accomplished in December besides gaining 10 pounds and dressing my dog up in elf costumes.
Speaking of my puppaloo (how’d ya like that segway?!), here’s a flashback to a picture of our cute little Kali from last Christmas.
