As Ashlee got ready in a hotel at the bottom of the hill, her soon to be husband awaited her arrival at the country club just minutes away. She looked herself in the mirror, received approvals from her bridesmaids, her mother and her mother-in-law, she was ready to go; and looking stunning!

As we made our way up the winding road, Pat was placing Joe in place for their first look. After years of being together, they were finally about to see each other on their wedding day. With no one around and the first moment of peace in the day, Ashlee made her way up the walkway to Joe and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around to see his gorgeous bride and his jaw dropped.
It’s moments like these when I have to hold my own tears back and remember to keep snapping pictures.

Afterwards, we had enough time to drive to a park nearby to take the family formals and bridal party pictures before the ceremony. They had the best people around them for their day and we had fun with every single person there. I have to say, while we were going through the pictures of the groomsmen together, Pat and I were laughing so hard we almost had tears in our eyes. I showed one of the photos to Ashlee that day and she said, “That one looks like you would put it on your blog”! She was right.

I’m so happy for these two. It was a gorgeous wedding in a country club nestled away in the hills that I never knew existed. They had such an amazing day and Ashlee repeatedly said this is her perfect wedding day. You can’t ask for anything better than that.
